Elana Ford is a Bay Area native currently living in Contra Costa County. When she’s not caring for her children or collaborating with their health care teams, she can be found volunteering with multiple special needs organizations including University of California San Francisco Benioff Children’s Hospital and Family Voices of California. Prior to becoming Mommy to two children with special needs, Elana worked in high school education, financial management and theater production. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Humanities and Arts from Carnegie Mellon University. Nathan Phillips is a Berkeley, California based photographer who specializes in photographing people and telling their stories. His portrait work includes celebrities, politicians, professional athletes, and some of Silicon Valley’s top executives and luminaries, but his primary focus is on families and children. He started his career as a digital photography instructor for Apple, Inc. in New York City before moving home to California and starting his own freelance company.
